Soccer for Success

Developed by the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Soccer for Success is a free after-school soccer-based program that uses sports as a tool to address children’s health disparities and juvenile delinquency. Since 2011, Our Saviour Center has partnered with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to promote healthy lifestyles, and fitness to youth in El Monte.

 

As of 2022, Our Saviour Center has been offering Soccer for Success to youth in Grades 1st-8th at all 14 schools in the El Monte City School District. The program runs 10 months out of the year, providing each child over 100 hours of soccer education, including wellness, healthy habits, mentorship, and other crucial life skills.​​
